We have installed hundreds of systems with an amazing success rate! About 10 years ago we started using this innovative turf drainage product in the ground on our jobs which acts as an engineered French drain, but we tweaked the process by backfilling with drainage stone and realized that the results were essentially a French drain in reverse, and it was a significant improvement in longevity and water movement in heavy clay soils! The microscopic particles of clay had a stone barrier to get through before it could silt up the filter fabric, essentially locking out the water.
